Ingredients:
- 16 oz refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup thick pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 24 slices mini pepperoni
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the refrigerated pizza dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface and use a pizza cutter to slice it into 24 equal-sized squares (approximately 2x2 inches).
- Place a small pinch of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough square.
- Top the cheese with approximately 1/2 tsp of pizza sauce and one slice of mini pepperoni.
- Fold the corners of the dough inward and pinch the edges shut firmly to create a sealed parcel, ensuring no gaps remain.
- Arrange the bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the bites with a mixture of olive oil and garlic powder.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the dough is puffed and the edges are pale gold.
- Allow the bites to cool for 5 minutes to let the cheese set before serving.
