Ingredients:

  • 16 oz refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup thick pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices mini pepperoni

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll the refrigerated pizza dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface and use a pizza cutter to slice it into 24 equal-sized squares (approximately 2x2 inches).
  3. Place a small pinch of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough square.
  4. Top the cheese with approximately 1/2 tsp of pizza sauce and one slice of mini pepperoni.
  5. Fold the corners of the dough inward and pinch the edges shut firmly to create a sealed parcel, ensuring no gaps remain.
  6. Arrange the bites on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of the bites with a mixture of olive oil and garlic powder.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the dough is puffed and the edges are pale gold.
  9. Allow the bites to cool for 5 minutes to let the cheese set before serving.
