Ingredients:
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground ginger
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
Instructions:
- Combine the ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground black pepper, and coconut oil in a small saucepan with 1/4 cup of the almond milk.
- Heat the mixture over medium low for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the spices are fragrant and the liquid is steaming.
- Remove the pan from heat and whisk in the maple syrup and vanilla extract. Let the concentrate sit for 2 minutes to cool slightly.
- Pour the remaining 1 1/4 cups of cold almond milk into a glass or shaker. Stir in the warm golden concentrate.
- Use a handheld frother for 30 seconds or shake vigorously in a mason jar until a thick, velvety foam forms on top.
- Fill a tall glass with fresh ice cubes.
- Pour the frothed golden mixture over the ice.
- Give it one final stir with a straw to create those beautiful gold swirls.
