Ingredients:
- 1 lb frozen edamame (in-pod or shelled)
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tbsp fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp chili crisp
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 stalk green onion, thinly sliced
Instructions:
- Rinse frozen edamame under warm water until thawed, then pat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- Heat neutral oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant but not brown.
- Increase heat to high, add edamame, and stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until pods slightly blister or shelled beans are toasted.
- Pour in whisked soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, and chili crisp. Toss rapidly for 1–2 minutes until the sauce reduces to a glossy lacquer.
- Remove from heat immediately and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
