Ingredients:
- 1 tsp (2g) matcha powder
- 2 tbsp (30ml) warm water
- 1 tsp (5ml) maple syrup
- 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened coconut milk
- 1/4 tsp (1g) vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Sift the matcha powder into a mug to remove lumps. Add warm water and maple syrup, then blend vigorously with a whisk or frother in a 'W' motion until a smooth, frothy concentrate forms.
- Heat the coconut milk in a small saucepan or microwave until steaming but not boiling. Use a handheld frother for 15–30 seconds until the milk becomes airy and doubles in volume.
- Slowly pour the frothed coconut milk over the matcha concentrate. For an iced version, fill a glass with ice, add coconut milk, and gently pour the matcha concentrate on top to create a marbled effect.
